Japanese products are perceived by the local market audience to be of exceptional quality. A manufacturer produced motor oil under a Japanese licence, and the aim of the campaign was to reinforce the idea that the oil was produced in Japan and was of Japanese quality.

/ solution

The idea: using Japanese Takayama oil makes any engine "run Japanese". We incorporated drifting, a racing style invented in Japan, into the script. A professional drifter took part in the filming and performed a unique trick — drifting in a circular tunnel.
